Effective e-mobility and renewable integration: reducing carbon emissions and increasing energy access, 24 November
For our last seminar of the term, Dr James Dixon will be presenting on ‘Effective e-mobility and renewable integration: reducing carbon emissions and increasing energy access’.
This session will present recent and ongoing work from Climate Compatible Growth (CCG)’s engagement with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on making e-mobility and renewable energy integration work in Asia and the Pacific. The session will present high-level results from the working paper guided by outputs from a CCG/ADB workshop held at the end of October, which details barriers to – and a framework of enablers for – effective e-mobility and renewable energy integration in multiple contexts across the region. This session is not the presentation of peer-reviewed academic output, but a more informal session geared at soliciting input and discussion from the Integrate team. Specifically, we seek input from the group on potential practical solutions that could be developed from the proposed framework of enablers, and ideas for next steps in the project with the goal of maximising impact.
Hosted at the Oxford Martin School, the seminar will be a hybrid event with limited availability in the building. There will be tea, coffee and biscuits from 11:00am, with the presentation and online session commencing at 11:30am.
