The Oxford Martin Programme on Integrating Renewable Energy has a research vacancy, at the University of Oxford.

We wish to appoint a Postdoctoral Researcher to examine emerging legal and regulatory issues associated with renewable energy systems.

These range from legislative challenges posed by emerging needs for data to be available to market participants while maintaining system security and privacy, to the development of new business models and contractual arrangements that have unexplored complexities.  The researcher will analyse such issues and work towards making policy recommendations with others in the Programme on Integrating Renewable Energy, particularly those working on Project LEO (Local Energy Oxfordshire), a major demonstrator project that started in 2019.

This is a full-time post for 12 months.  Deadline for applications: 13 March 2020, 12:00.
