Jun Cao is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Engineering Department and a Fellow of the Oxford Martin Programme on Integrating Renewable Energy.

Jun’s current research interests include stochastic power and energy system stability, control and operation of hybrid AC/DC grids with renewable energy integrated.

Jun worked as a Lecturer and Associated Professor at North China Electric Power University in 2014 and 2016. Jun was awarded a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen’s University Belfast in 2013 and received his M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China in 2009.
